All aspects of manufacturing including research & development, quality, regulatory, manufacturing and packaging are all handled on-site in Troy’s FDA compliant, 80,000 sq. ft. facility located in Hazleton, PA.
This sets Troy apart from other national brands who outsource these tasks.
CONFIDENCE
All aspects of quality and regulatory from raw materials to finished packaged goods are performed by us at our Hazleton, PA facility. No consultants or outside laboratories are used.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
All customer orders are assembled and distributed from our Hazleton facility. The product name, package size, lot number, expiration date and quantity are verified by the order picker and a Quality Assurance representative prior to shipping.
TESTING & STABILITY
All testing and package stability is completed on-site, inside our short-term and long-term stability chambers. We run stability testing on all product formulas and package variations to support a 3-year expiration.
CONSTANT SUPPLY = RELIABLE INVENTORY
Troy has built strong relationships with the manufacturers of the raw materials, packaging and components we use. This allows us to have consistent inventory, which is why Troy has never had a backorder and lead times are no more than 7 days.

Troy History
In 1997, Troy Manufacturing entered the industry as a contract manufacturer of topical analgesics, including formula development. Upon meeting the founders of Biofreeze - Craig Cox, Chris Cox and Perry Isenberg - Troy formed a partnership and became the sole manufacturing arm of Biofreeze in 2000.

- Troy began manufacturing over-the-counter topical analgesics
2000
- Troy became the sole manufacturer of Biofreeze, gaining intimate knowledge of the product strengths and weaknesses
2002
- Troy became the contract manufacturer for the Stopain® retail brand
2010
- Troy purchased the Stopain® brand and discontinued manufacturing of Biofreeze
2015
- Began development and observational studies for the Stopain® Clinical Migraine & Headache topical pain relief product
2016
- Began research and development for the Stopain® Clinical line of topical analgesics
2017
- Launched the Stopain® Clinical in the Healthcare Professional market. 6,000+ Clinics and Spas currently using Stopain® Clinical
2019
- Stopain® Clinical Migraine & Headache product is launched in the Healthcare Professional Market
2022
